Statement of Duties

 

The Old Town Optimist Club is organized as follows:

Board of Directors

• Six elected members who determine club policies

President

• One elected member who coordinates and encourages the implementation of club programs and policies and who presides at club and board meetings

Vice Presidents

• Two elected members who serve as liaison between the Board of Directors and the members

Secretary

• One appointed member who maintains minutes of club and board meetings.

Treasurer

• One appointed member who receives and disperses all club funds and supervises the budget and heads the finance committee

Membership

• Currently consists of men and women who want to reach out to help youth and the community.
